My name is Sebastian and I studied mechanical engineering in Freiberg, Germany. Currently I am working on my dissertation and investigating the multiphase flow of liquid metals with open source CFD tools.
A few years ago I started using Linux. My first Linux was Sabayon and I used it in a dual-boot environment. However, this distribution is not for Linux beginners because it’s rather unstable. Later I switched to openSUSE and I am using this distribution ever since.
My interests are Linux & Open Source Software, Python, Shell & C++ programming, video & music editing, CFD (computational fluid dynamics) software like OpenFOAM or StarCCM+, playing guitar, skiing and mountain biking.
